Help & Counselling Services

A wide range of help & counselling services fall under the “Social” heading. We have compiled a great deal of information below, going beyond conventional social welfare.

The Rhein-Sieg district as a local social welfare provider makes an important contribution to the social security of those who live in the district. It has the statutory remit to secure the means of existence of those who are not in a position to do so with their own resources and to allow them to live in a manner that respects their human dignity. The practical implementation of this remit takes place decentrally in the nineteen cities and municipalities that make up the district.

Besides securing the means of existence, the Social Welfare Office of the Rhein-Sieg district also works with other providers of social services and voluntary welfare providers to perform many other social services. Further information on these can be found via the terms below.
